(Fremont, Nebraska) The Dordt College Defender women's soccer team took the conference leading Midland Lutheran Warriors to double overtime Saturday afternoon in Fremont, Nebraska, losing a 2-1 decision.

Dordt's lone goal of the contest came on a combination by freshmen Kate Du Mez and Lindsay Baker with Du Mez getting the goal and Baker the assist. Anna Bos was also credited with an assist on the goal that came in the final ten minutes of regulation.

Midland Lutheran improved to 7-1 in the Great Plains Athletic Conference while Dordt fell to 4-5 in the 12-game league schedule.

Both goals in regulation came in the second half with Dordt getting their goal in the 82nd minute of play.
