(Lincoln, Nebraska) The Nebraska Wesleyan Prairie Wolves took a defensive struggle in women's Great Plains Athletic Conference soccer on Saturday night in Lincoln, Nebraska, claiming a 1-0 win over the Dordt Defenders.
The lone goal of the game came with 4:30 left in regulation off a crossing pass that Wesleyan was able to knock in for the game winner. Dordt managed five shots on goal while Wesleyan had 12 shots on goal. Mallory Foster had 11 saves for the Defenders in the loss.
Dordt slips to 4-3 in the conference and 4-6 overall while Wesleyan remains unbeaten in the conference with a 3-0-1 record in the GPAC.
