Dordt College Women's Soccer vs. Benedictine

(Sioux Center, Iowa) Entering the game 0-2 on a pair of one goal losses, the Dordt women's soccer team lost 0-3 in a nonconference battle versus Benedictine College, giving the Lady Ravens their first win of the season.

The initial goal was scored with 44:10 remaining in the game by Sara Figoni, the lone scorer of the evening. Figoni's first goal was assisted by Kim Minnick. Figoni's two other goals came with under 16:00 left, clinching the season opening win for the Ravens.

Benedictine outshot Dordt with 12 shots on goal to Dordt's 6. Mallory Foster made seven saves in goal for Dordt College.
