Dordt College Women's Soccer vs. Northwestern

(Orange City, Iowa) The Dordt College Lady Defender soccer team was shut-out 1-0 by Northwestern on Tuesday night in the Great Plains Athletic Conference opener for both teams. Serah Bugler found the net for Northwestern in the 32nd minute and Liz Reynen stopped five shots in goal to preserve the win.

Dordt's Mallory Foster had nine saves as Dordt was outshot 11-6. The Lady Defenders slip to 0-2 overall while Northwestern is now 2-3. The win was the first for Northwestern in 15 tries against the Dordt College women.
