Dordt College Women's Soccer vs. Mount Marty

(Yankton, South Dakota) The Dordt College Lady Defenders beat the Mount Marty Lady Lancer soccer team in Great Plains Athletic Conference play Wednesday afternoon by a 8-0 count. The Lady Defenders' Heather Otten registered a hat trick with scores in the 18th, 23rd and 64th minutes to lead the Lady Defender effort. Nicki De Blaey had a pair of goals in the 5th and 60th minutes while Abbie Soodsma (21st minute), Callie Christensen (39th minute) and Vanessa Patino (86th minute) added a goal each.

Anna Hubers and Suzanne Clark each had a pair of assists while De Blaey, Soodsma and Anne Oppeneer also assisted on a goal each.

Lisa Enger (2 saves) and Leah Wolthuizen (3 saves) combined for the shut-out in goal.
