Dordt College Women's Soccer vs. Dana

(Blair, Nebraska) The Dordt Lady Defenders improved to 3-0-1 in Great Plains Athletic Conference play with a 3-2 win in Blair, Nebraska this afternoon. The Lady Defenders scored the first goal of the game when Suzanne Clark fed Nicki De Blaey behind the defense and De Blaey found Anna Hubers for a goal with 15 minutes gone in the game.

Twenty minutes later Sarah Sikkema assisted De Blaey for a 2-0 lead. Dordt wasted no time in going up 3-0 in the second half when Abbie Soodsma's cross found Hubers for her second goal of the game.

Dana came to life with a goal fourteen minutes into the second half and really tightened things up with a goal ten minutes later. The Lady Defenders were able to hold the Lady Vikings off for the remaining 21 minutes for the win.
