Dordt College Women's Soccer vs. Bellevue

(Sioux Center, Iowa) The Bellevue Bruin women's soccer team turned away the Dordt College Lady Defenders this afternoon in Sioux Center by a score of 2-1. Bellevue got their first goal just three minutes into the game on a low drive by Ashley Carter off an assist by Rebecca Lauver.

The Lady Defenders tied the score on a left footed roller by Nicki De Blaey just over 20 minutes into the contest.

The two teams played even soccer for much of the second half with Bellevue breaking through with a goal by Lauver with 12:32 remaining.

Lisa Enger was in goal for the Lady Defenders.
