Dordt College Women's Soccer vs. Briar Cliff

(Sioux Center, Iowa) The Lady Defenders picked up another GPAC victory this afternoon defeating Briar Cliff 2-1. Dordt took an early lead when Beth De Jonge scored off of a Stephanie Schippers cross. Dordt held their 1-0 lead going into the half. Dordt added to their lead immediatly to open the second half when Bethany Nishimoto assisted Stephanie Schippers to push Dordt to a 2-0 lead. With just over 7 minutes remaining in the game Briar Cliff would score from 18 yards out, giving Dordt the victory 2-1.
