(Sioux Center, Iowa) The Lady Defenders won at home today 2-1.

Stephanie Schippers scored early in the first half off a pass from Bethany Nishimoto. Anne Oppeneer scored with 18:00 minutes left in the first half to put the Defenders up 2-0.

The Defenders allowed Midland Lutheran 1 goal in the second half, but held on for the win.
