Dordt College Women's Soccer vs. Doane

(Sioux Center, Iowa) The Dordt College Lady Defenders took a 3-0 win over Doane College this afternoon in women's soccer. The Lady Defender drew first blood with an unassisted goal by Nicki De Blaey. De Blaey banged home a rebound off a missed shot by Heather Otten with 2:33 gone in the game. De Blaey added a second goal when she knocked in a header on a corner from Suzanne Clark with 19:20 gone in the first half to make it 2-0.
With 5:14 left in the game Abbie Soodsma scored off a crossing pass from Bethany Nishimoto.
The Dordt defense surrendered just two shots on goal and Larissa Brown recorded the shutout.
