Dordt College Women's Soccer vs. College of Saint Mary

(Sioux Center, Iowa) The Dordt College Lady Defenders earned a 1-0 win over the highly regarded College of Saint Mary Flames on Thursday afternoon.

The Lady Defenders got the game winner off a header by Bethany Nishimoto with 9:18 remaining in the game. Anne Oppeneer set the play up with an entry pass that Nishimoto put over the top of the keeper from five yards out. Larissa Brown earned the win in goal. St. Mary outshot Dordt College 16-4.

The win is the first for Dordt College over St. Mary since 1999.
