Dordt College Women's Soccer vs. Sioux Falls

(Sioux Center, Iowa) The Dordt College Lady Defenders handled Sioux Falls in women's soccer 8-0 on Tuesday afternoon in Sioux Center. The Lady Defenders scored their first goal on a corner kick with 29:37 remaining in the first half when Steph Schippers found the goal. Heather Otten scored on a header six minutes later and Abbie Soodsma made it 3-0 with 14:26 remaining in the half.
Two minutes later Otten scored again from 20 yards out and Jenny Van Laan capped the first half scoring with a goal off a rebound with nine minutes left.
Nicki De Blaey tacked on two second half goals and Beth De Jong added a score with 10:33 remaining for the final. Larissa Brown and Erin Piersma got the shared shutout in goal.
