Dordt College Women's Soccer vs. Concordia-GPAC Quarterfinals

(Sioux Center, Iowa) The Dordt Lady Defenders beat the Concordia Bulldogs 2-1 this afternoon in Great Plains Athletic Conference post season quarterfinal women's soccer.
The Bulldogs scored first with 16:20 left in the first half when Jen Davis had a slow roller that found the right corner of the net.
The lead held for Concordia until Angie Katsma launched a corner kick that deflected off a Concordia defensive player with 16:10 left in regulation. The Lady Defenders appeared to have won the game in regulation but a goal as time expired was ruled after the clock expired.
After an overtime period with no score the Lady Defenders put together an attack in the first minute of the second overtime and scored when Bethany Nishimoto laid the ball in front of the goal and Abbie Soodsma deflected it in for the win.
Dordt outshot Concordia 15-2 and Larissa Brown was in goal for the Lady Defenders.
