Dordt College Women's Soccer vs. Nebraska Wesleyan

(Sioux Center, Iowa) The Dordt Lady Defenders handed Nebraska Wesleyan their first loss in the GPAC season with a 3-2 overtime decision today in Sioux Center.

Dordt scored with four minutes left in the first overtime period on a Bethany Nishimoto goal off an assist from Nicole De Blaey. The goal was Nishimoto's second of the game. The fleet junior also had a goal in the first half off a pass from Abbie Soodsma with 4:59 left in the first period. Karissa Phelps had Dordt's other goal with 43 minutes left in the game on an assist from Anna Hubers.

Wesleyan scored the first goal of the game with 33:53 left in the first half on a Stephanie Anderson goal. Amy Chandler had the other Prairie Wolf goal with 30:35 left in regulation.

Larissa Brown spent the day in goal for the Lady Defenders.
