Dordt College Women's Soccer vs. Southwest Minnesoata State

(Home) Dordt opened the 2000 women's season with a tight 1-0 win at home today versus Southwest Minnesota State of Marshall, Minnesota. Dordt scored the lone goal of the game in the second half when Julie Van Der Kooi netted the ball on a corner kick by Meghan Graham. Kristin Zomermaand posted the shutout in goal for the Lady Defenders. Dordt is now 1-0, and will host conference rival Hastings of Nebraska next Saturday (9/9) at home in Sioux Center.
