Dordt College Women's Soccer vs. Northwestern

(Home) The Dordt College women’s soccer team picked up a 2-1 home win on Tuesday in Sioux Center versus visiting Northwestern College of Orange City.
The Lady Defenders scored both goals in the first half of the game at the Dordt College soccer field. Heather Williams knocked in the first goal of the game unassisted with 8:57 left in the first 45 minutes. Liz Dykstra scored Dordt’s second goal with 5:50 left in the half on an assist from Kelli Holwerda. Nancy Ter Horst scored Northwestern's only goal, in the second half, with 33:51 left in the game. Ter Horst was assisted by Alyssum Sherbondy.
Dordt’s women improve to 8-5 with the win and will host Martin Luther at noon on Saturday in Sioux Center for Parents Weekend. The Raiders drop their record to 4-5-2.
