(Home) The Dordt women improved their season mark to 7 and 4 with a 3-0 shut-out win at home Tuesday versus Southwest Minnesota State. Dordt scored all their goals in the second half of the game with Kalie Gaskill netting the first goal with 39 minutes left in the game. Gaskil’s goal was unassisted. Dordt made it 2-0 at with 33:12 left in the game on a goal by Heather Williams. Williams was assisted by Sarah Vriend. The Lady Defenders tallied their final goal with 23:21 left in the game as once again Heather Williams found the goal on an assist from Erin Stahl. Keeper Kristin Zomermaand had four saves in goal for the Lady Defenders. Dordt racked up 19 shots-on-goal.
