Dordt College Women's Soccer vs. Doane-GPAC Semifinals

(Sioux Center, Iowa) The Dordt Lady Defenders advanced to the title game of the Great Plains Athletic Conference post season, women's soccer tournament with a 2-0 win over Doane College in a game played at Sioux Center today. The Lady Defenders scored their first goal of the game on a Jill Erffmeyer shot with 43:00 remaining in the game that slipped through the Doane goalie's hands. Dordt put the game out of reach with 20:49 remaining when Nicole De Blaey found Bethany Nishimoto on a crossing pass for the goal. Larisssa Brown earned the shut out in goal. The game was Dordt's ninth win in a row and their ninth shutout this season. Doane was limited to just one shot each half.
