(Sioux Center, Iowa) The Dordt Lady Defender soccer team lost their season opener today in Sioux Center against Southwest State (MN). Dordt trailed 3-1 at the end of the first half and narrowed the gap to 3-2 before Southwest State put the game away with a goal with 14:21 left in the game. Janna Brink led Dordt with a goal and an assist. Nadia AbuAyed scored three goals in the win for the Mustangs.
