Dordt College Men's Soccer vs. Hastings College

(Hastings, NE) The Dordt College men's soccer team ended their 2001 season this evening with a loss in the GPAC semi-finals to Hastings College in Hastings, Nebraska. After a 5-0 deficit at half time, Dordt was able to spark the offensive netting three goals in the second half. Ben Bieri, Kyle Van Andel, and Travis Burgers had one goal each while Kyle Van Andel assisted on Bieri's goal. But the three goals were not enough as Hastings won the contest 6-3. Dordt's goalies Tim Klien had six saves with five goals allowed while Darren Van Hofwegen had four saves with one goal allowed.
