Dordt College Men's Soccer vs. Mount Marty

(Yankton, SD) Dordt College won their tenth game in eleven starts with a 3-1 win over the Mount Marty Lancers in Yankton, South Dakota on Tuesday, October 4.

Dordt scored in 19th minute of play on a Derick Sackey unassisted goal. The freshman now has seven goals this season. The 1-0 score stood into the second half when Cameron Stuive knocked a goal in during the 50th minute off a corner kick and ten minutes later Brady Van Holland scored an unassisted goal to make it 3-0.

Mount Marty averted the shutout with a goal in the 71st minute by David Montes.

Dordt outshot the hosts 5-4 with Brian Verwolf recording three saves.

Dordt is now 10-1 overall and 3-1 in the GPAC and will host St. Ambrose in a non-conference game on Saturday at 4:15. Mount Marty falls to 1-9 overall and 0-4 in the conference.
