(Seward, Nebraska) The Dordt College Defender men's soccer team dropped a 3-2 decision to Concordia on Saturday in Seward, Nebraska. Dordt scored in the 43rd minute to tie it but surrendered back to back goals in the 54th and 66th minutes to fall behind 3-1. Dordt got a Devin Williams goal in the 71st minute to get within 3-2 but couldn't get the equalizier down the stretch. Steven Talsma scored Dordt's first goal shortly before the half break in the 43rd minute.

Dordt was outshot 8-5 on goal with Brian Verwolf recording five saves. The Defenders are now 3-8-2 overall and 1-5-1 in the GPAC. Concordia improves to 3-2 in the league and 5-4-2 overall. Dordt will travel to Northwestern on Wednesday, October 13 in its next action.
