Dordt College Men's Soccer vs. Sioux Falls

(Sioux Falls, SD) The Dordt College men's soccer team scored the first goal of the game against Sioux Falls, but lost a 3-1 decision to the Sioux Falls Cougars on Wednesday, October 21.
Dordt scored in the 15th minute with Joe Lammers tucking a shot into the net off an assist from Devin Williams. Sioux Falls couldn't counter until the 30th minute when they got one past Brian Verwolf and the hosts wasted no time in scoring again in the 31st minute for a 2-1 lead.
The Cougars scored one more in the second half for the final of 3-1. Sioux Falls outshot the Defenders 16-7 with Brian Verwolf making five saves in goal for the Defenders.
Dordt is now 4-5 overall and 8-7 in the conference while Sioux Falls is 6-2-1 in the loop and 8-6-1 overall. The Defenders will face Nebraska Wesleyan on Saturday in conference play.
