Dordt College Men's Soccer vs. Concordia

(Seward, Nebraska) The Dordt College Defender men's soccer team was on the losing end of a 1-0 decision at Concordia Saturday afternoon, September 27 in Seward, Nebraska.
The Defenders mustered ten shots--three of them on goal in the loss while Concordia had 13 shots--getting five of them on frame in the win.
Brian Verwolf was the keeper for the Defenders and made four saves while Concordia's Alex McKamy gets credit for the shutout and made three saves. The gamewinner for the Bulldogs came in the 50th minute when George Lara scored off an assist by Kraig Hein.
Dordt has been involved in three straight-one goal losses and are 2-5 overall. Concordia improves to 2-5 this season. The Defenders will go to Northwestern on Wednesday, October 1 for a 7:30 start in Orange City, Iowa.
