Dordt College Men's Soccer vs. Dana

(Blair, Nebraska) The Dordt College men's soccer team suffered a 3-0 loss to Dana College on Saturday afternoon in Blair, Nebraska to drop their regular season finale and finished the regular season with an 8-7-2 overall mark and a 5-5-2 Great Plains Athletic Conference.
Dana struck quickly on a goal by Brad Moon off an assist from Matt Cross less than a minute into the game.
Dana scored another goal in the 54th minute off a header by Corbin Lukasiewicz to make it 2-0 off a free kick and then Dana got a goal for insurance in the 72nd minute by Matt Cross for the final of 3-0.
Dordt was out shot 8-6 and both teams had a total of five shots on goal. Dordt's Jordan Huisken recorded two saves in goal for the Defenders.
Dana improves to 10-5-3 and 6-4-2. Post-season berths based upon longo points will be awarded Sunday night at which point Dordt College will learn their post-season fate. Dordt College would need to gain one of two at-large berths based on upon the longo points formula to advance to the NAIA Region III tournament which begins October 31.
