Dordt College Men's Soccer vs. Bellevue

(Bellevue, Nebraska) The Dordt College Defenders lost a 3-1 decision at Bellevue University (Nebraska) on Friday night in non-conference men's soccer play.

Bellevue had a 1-0 lead at halftime and tacked another goal on before the Defenders got an unassisted goal from Ryan Coon in the 75th minute to make it 2-1. Any thoughts of a comeback were quickly put away with Bellevue scoring one minute later for what turned out to be the final goal of the game.

Dordt is 2-1 while Bellevue goes to 1-0. Bellevue was ranked 27th in the pre-season NAIA national poll. Dordt is now off until September 12 when they host Briar Cliff in league play.
