(Sioux Center, Iowa) The University of Mary Marauders turned away Dordt College in double overtime 2-1 this afternoon at Sioux Center.
Dordt tied the game with 24:08 remaining in the game when Ryan Coon fed Mike Oppeneer for the first Defender goal of the game.
Mary scored in the first half with 17:12 left when Lubomir Djurovik deflected a shot off Brandon Vander Wel.
After a scoreless first overtime Mary ended the game in the 102nd minute on a goal by Darius Seidler off an assist by Justin Foss.
