(Crete, Nebraska) The Doane Tigers won the GPAC season opener with Dordt College Wednesday night in Crete, Nebraska. The hosts scored 38 minutes into the game and tacked on another two goals in the second half in the 68th and 85th minutes.
The Defenders capped the scoring with a goal from Ryan Coon off an assist from Bryan Burgers.
Brandon VanderWel worked in goal for the Defenders.
