The Defenders went on the road and beat the Doane Tigers for the second time this season to earn a spot in the GPAC semifinals against Northwestern on Monday. The Defenders did it in dramatic fashion with Ryan Coon making a shot in the second phase of penalty kicks to forge the 3-2, 2 OT win.
