Dordt College Men's Soccer vs. St. Ambrose-Northwestern Tournament

(Orange City, Iowa) The Dordt College Defender soccer team came from two goals down in the second half to force overtime against St. Ambrose, but lost in overtime this afternoon 4-3.
Kyle Van Andel scored in the 19th minute on a Mike Oppeneer assist to give Dordt the early lead. St. Ambrose then scored three unanswered goals in the 27th, 44th and 47th minutes to lead 3-1. Craig Ritsema scored off a corner kick in the 56th minute to make it 3-2 and Danny Koolhaas knotted the score at 3-3 in the 61st minute on a shot from 18 yards out.
The Bees won it on a goal in the 7th minute of overtime. Tim Klein stopped 11 shots in goal for the Defenders.
