Dordt College Men's Soccer vs. Sioux Falls

(Sioux Falls, South Dakota) Dordt College improved to 1-1 in conference play this afternoon with a 2-1 victory at Sioux Fall in Great Plains Athletic Conference action.
The Defenders got an early goal from Mike Oppeneer on an assist from Aaron Faber in the first five minutes of the contest. The two teams fought to a stalemate until the 13 minutes into the second half when Kyle Van Andel converted a penalty kick to give Dordt a 2-0 cushion.
Sioux Falls struck back five minutes later on a breakaway goal by Derek D'Agosta to make it 2-1 and that's how it ended.
Tim Klein got the win in goal for the Defenders making 9 saves.
