Dordt College Men's Soccer vs. University of Mary

(Away) Dordt College men’s soccer opened Independent Great Plains Regional action at Bismarck today versus the Universityof Mary. For a second time this season Mary defeated Dordt, this time 1-0 in the quarter-finals. Mary defeated Dordt 4-3 earlier in the season at Sioux Center. The Marauders scored the game’s lone goal when Tyler Garnet scored on an assist from Tim Green with 26 minutes left in the second half. The Dordt men, coached by Bill Elgersma, end the season at 11-6-2. The Lady Defender soccer team plays an Independent Great Plains Regional semi-final tomorrow at Huron beginning at 1:00 p.m. Mary’s men’s team moves on to the semi-finals on Thursday in the Independent Great Plains Regional.
