Dordt College Men's Soccer vs. Huron

(Home) The Dordt men's soccer team improved to 6-2 for the season with a 3-0 shut out win at home on Saturday versus the visiting Huron Screaming Eagles. Dordt scored all their goals in the second half as Paul Mortlock, Ben Bieri, and Troy Ten Napel all scored for the Defenders. Paul Mortlock scored Dordt's first goal with a header on an assist from Troy Ten Napel with 44:02 left in the second half. Ben Bieri scored Dordt's second goal with a header on an assist from Ryan Visser with 14:01 left in the game. Dordt tacked on one final goal as Paul Mortlock gave a lead pass to Troy Ten Napel who netted Dordt's third goal with 3:00 minutes left in the game. Arlan Vander Woude played a tough game at keeper for Dordt with ten saves and a big stop on a Huron penalty kick in the first half.
