Dordt College Lacrosse vs. Bethel

(Sioux Center, Iowa) The second game of the doubleheader paired Dordt against Bethel in the last game of the year for both squads. Dordt came out fired up and ready to play. Eager to avenge last years 1 point loss to Bethel in the previous season, Dordt came out firing getting ahead 3-0 early on in the contest. In front of a large home crowd, the Sowers put on a show dominating throughout much of the contest. Senior Nick Campbell broke the single game record for points scored in a game with 9 (8 goals, 1 assist), while the defense may have played their best game of the season. Shifting quickly and frustrating the Bethel attack. Keeper Jordan Yntema recorded 13 saves while only allowing 3 goals. Player of the game honors went to senior Nick Campbell.
