Dordt College Lacrosse vs. Cornell

(Sioux Center, Iowa) The first game featured the Sowers taking on Cornell in their last divisional match up. Everyone got in on the scoring for Dordt as they were able to put up 20 goals, while the defense posted their first shut out of the year. Dordt's offense was led by senior Nick Campbell who had 6 goals and 2 assists. Mark Opp, Max Litner, Dan Brouwer, and Tyler Buys each had 2 goals of their own. Dordt even had 3 players score their first career goal. Seniors Joel Broek, Brendan Lyle, and Greg Stahl all recorded their first goal. The defense was once again led by Brett Cooper who picked up 7 ground balls. Jordan Yntema recorded 3 saves while not allowing any goals.
