Dordt College Blades Hockey vs. Iowa State University

(Ames, Iowa) For the second night in a row the Dordt College Blades fall by a score of 7-1 to the Iowa State University Cyclones and for the second consecutive night Dordt's Eric Huitsing gets the lone goal for the Blades to stop the Cyclone shut-out effort.
The Cyclones tallied three times and the first and added one in the second to take a 4-0 lead into the second intermission. The Cyclones added two more in the third before Dordt's Eric Huitsing picked up his 7th goal of the season with 6:35 left in the third period. The 'Clones picked up the final goal of the game at 4:15.
Riley Braun had 28 saves in goal for the Dordt Blades.
Next weekend the Blades will travel to Fremont, Nebraska for a pair of games in the Sidner Ice Arena against the University of Nebraska. The puck will drop at 7:00 pm on Friday, January 25 and at 4:00 pm on Saturday, January 26.
