(Sidner Ice Arena, Fremont, Nebraska) The Dordt College Blades dropped a 5-1 game to the University of Nebraska this afternoon in an MACHA game played in Fremont, Nebraska. The Cornhuskers improve to 12-7-0-1 on the year while the Blades fall to 3-16.

Goals at 17:46 and 8:42 gave the Huskers an 2-0 lead after one period of play and Nebraska tacked on another with just 47 seconds to play in the second period to take a 3-0 lead heading into the second intermission.

Taylor Poland scored a pair of goals 28 seconds apart for Nebraska for a 5-0 lead with markers at 10:29 and 10:01.

Nic Enerson had the lone goal for the Dordt Blades with a power play tally at 8:30 with assists from Chase VanGaalen and Eric Walter.

Dordt College will play their last two games of the season on February 1 and 2 as they play host to SDSU on Friday, February 1 at 7:30 pm before ending their season Saturday, February 2 with a 7:00 pm game in Brookings.
