(Away) The Dordt Blades fell 6-0 to the University of Wyoming in an NCCHA conference game held in Laramie, Wyoming. With the win, the Cowboys avenged a 4-3 non-conference loss to the Blades in a match up that was part of the Clash in the Corn.
With the loss the Blades fall to 1-10 overall and 0-3 in the NCCHA.
Dordt gave up 3 goals in the first period after being outshot 20-10 over the opening 20 minutes of action. The Cowboys added another goal in the second and two more in the third to take the 6-0 shut-out victory.
Robert Kola recorded the shut-out for Wyoming making 29 saves between the pipes for the Cowboys while Nico VanKeulen had 49 saves on 55 shots on goal in the loss.
Dordt will play Colorado College on Saturday, November 13 in their final outing of their three game trip to Colorado and Wyoming.
