Dordt College Blades Hockey vs. University of Nebraska-Lincoln

(Lincoln, Nebraska) The Dordt Blades outshot the Huskers in the first period 10-4 but could not find the back of the net while Nebraska finished 3 of their four chances in taking a 10-0 win over the Blades.
The first goal of the contest was a short-handed effort for the Huskers' Doug Richard at 12:36 in the first. The Huskers added another at the 7:14 mark and a power play goal with three-tenths of a second left in the period made it a 3-0 game.
Nebraska added 3 more tallies in the second period and 4 more in the third in beating the Blades for the second night in a row.
Dordt netminder Riley Braun had 32 saves in goal for Dordt while Chris Taylor and Colin Burt combined for the shut-out for Nebraska.
With the loss Dordt College falls to 2-12 overall and 1-5 in conference.
The Blades will take the week of Thanksgiving off before returning to action on Friday, December 3 at 7:30 pm and Saturday, December 4 at 4:15 pm with both contests being played in the Vernon Arena against conference foe Iowa State.
