(Sioux Center, Iowa) Dordt rebounded from last night's loss to SDSU with a 5-2 win over the Jacks on the Blades home ice. With the win the Blades improve to 6-6-1 on the season.

In the second period Zach Staudt gave the lead back to the Blades when he finished a backhand pass from Jordan Janz who was behind the Jacks goal, the goal came with 14:17 remaining. Janz scored his second of the night, a power play goal, at the 11:11 mark to give Dordt a 3-1 when he finished off a rebound from his own shot. SDSU cut the lead back down to one as Matt George, also on the power play, snuck one through the legs of Ted Gibbons. Jordan Janz earned the hat trick with exactly 6 minutes to go in the period when he redirected a Todd Bakker blue line shot.
Nate Woudstra got the only goal of the third period to seal the win for the Blades. Woudstra won a face-off draw and played it forward to himself and then buried a great shot into the top left hand corner with just over 2 minutes to go in the game to put the score at 5-2.
