Dordt College Women's Golf at GPAC #2

(Fremont, Nebraska) The Dordt College Defender women's golf team finished sixth in GPAC Qualifier #2 at the Fremont Golf Club on Saturday, October 8. The Defenders were two shots out of fifth place and seven shots out of fourth place in the 11 team field.
Dordt was paced by Renae Visser with an 87 while Justean De Groot and Micayla Weaver each carded 92's. Angela Johnson was Dordt's fourth score kept with a 110. Visser's finish was good for ninth on the day and De Groot and Weaver were tied for 18th in the 55 golfer field.
Dakota Wesleyan had a 331 for first behind Dani Bellet's 79 and Morningside placed second with a 356.
This marks the conclusion of the fall season for the Defenders. GPAC #3 and #4 will be played in the spring.
