Dordt College Women's Golf at GPAC Qualifier #1

(Mitchell, South Dakota) Dordt College shot a 426 in GPAC Qualifier #1 in women's golf on Saturday, September 11. Dordt stands 12th after the first round of play with the second round of the four round event taking place on October 5. The round was played at Lakeview Golf Course in Mitchell, South Dakota. The course was set up for par-72 and 5863 yards.
Bekah Benson shot a 103 for Dordt and tied for 51st play while Justean De Groot shot a 104 and was 53rd.
After day one Dakota Wesleyan has the team lead with 330 and Sioxu Falls and Midland Lutheran are at 338 and 340 respectively.
Danielle Bellet, last year's conference champion, shot a 71 for Dakota Wesleyan and has a nine stroke lead heading into round two in the individual race.
Dordt will next golf on September 15 at Lincoln, Nebraska.
