Dordt College Men's Golf at Palace City Classic

(Mitchell, South Dakota (Wild Oak)) Led by Madison Moss's 71 the Dordt College Defender men's golf team is in sixth place after day one of the Palace City Classic in Mitchell, South Dakota. The two-day event is hosted by Dakota Wesleyan with play on Friday at Wild Oak Golf Club. The course was set up for par-72, 6,441 yards.
Northwestern leads the event with a 279 and Jamestown is second with a 284. Dordt shota 299 and is five shots out of fifth place and six shots back of the host school, Dakota Wesleyan, in fourth. Northwestern's Neil Malenke had a 65 on Friday.
Nathan Middel shot a 74 for Dordt and is in 20th place in the 64 player field. Connor Rothert and Trey Hugen had 76 and 78 respectively and Micah Roos carded an 81 to complete the Dordt unit.
