Dordt stands eighth in the 13 team field at the Doane College Invitational, a two day men's golf event at Wilderness Ridge Golf in Lincoln, Nebraska.

The Defender five recorded a score of 338 and stand seven shots out of sixth place with Tuesday to go.

Dordt was led by Madison Moss and Derek Fox, both of whom shot 81s on the 7,107 yard, par 71 layout. Sam Vos and Zach Kooiker accounted for Dordt's two other counting scores with an 87 and 89 respectively. Nathan Middel, golfing as an individual, shot an 82. Fox and Moss are currently in 21st place in the 75 golfer field.

Northwestern's Neil Malenke shot even par to hold first place after day one and his team is in first place with a 308, 13 shots clear of Dakota Wesleyan and Doane.
