Dordt College Men's Golf at Siouxland Invite

(Orange City, Iowa) Dordt College entered three teams in the Siouxland Golf Invite co-hosted by Northwestern and Dordt at Landsmeer and The Ridge on Friday and Saturday, September 6 and 7 respectively.
The Defenders placed a team 9th after day one with its other two teams finishing 13th and 17th.
Dordt's low score for the day was Derek Fox with a 73 and Sam Vos shot a 77. Jon Holwerda and Brett Rozenboom had an 84 and 88 respectively. Zach Kooiker also broke 80 for the Dordt 2 team with a 79.
Dordt had a 322 and Dordt 2 shot a 332. Dordt 3 had a 355 on a day where winds were 5-15 miles per hour and temps were in the mid-80's in Orange City. Northwestern had a 293 on day one for the lead with Neil Malenke shooting a 70 for the low score.
Day two of the event will tee off at 9:00.
