(Storm Lake, Iowa (Lake Creek)) Dordt College shot a 335 on Friday at Lake Creek Country Club near Storm Lake, Iowa at the Buena Vista Invite and the Defenders stand 18th heading into day two on Saturday.
Ryan Kamp shot a 79 to lead the Defenders and Brandon McCracken had an 82.
Morningside's Brandon Thompson went low with a 68 and has a four shot lead in the medalist chase heading into the final 18 holes of the event. Central leads the team race with a 300 and Northwestern is second with a 302.
Lake Creek was set up for par 72 and 6.706 yards.
