Dordt College Men's Golf at GPAC #1

(Yankton, South Dakota (Fox Run)) Dordt College is in eighth place after GPAC Qualifier #1 hosted by Mount Marty at Fox Run Golf Course in Yankton, South Dakota. The round was the first of four played to determine the GPAC champion and spans the entire school year.

Dordt carded a 317 in a tightly contested competition where the top six teams are separated by 11 strokes. Nebraska Wesleyan leads the team field with a 296 while Northwestern, led by low-scorer Neil Malenke, fired a 298. Malenke came in with a 68.

Dordt was led by Ryan Kamp's 75 which puts him in a tie for tenth place overall. Brandon McCracken shot a 76 which puts him in fourteenth place. Madison Moss carded an 82 while Jon Holwerda completed the Dordt scoring with an 84.

GPAC Qualifier #2 will be held at Hastings, Nebraska on October 6. The Defenders will get a chance to golf at the course in Hastings in their next outing on September 22.
