(Sioux City, Iowa (Whispering Creek)) Dordt College scored a 309 after day one of the Morningside/Briar Cliff Invite hosted at Whispering Creek in Sioux City, Iowa.
Ryan Kamp shot an even par score of 72 to take a one stroke lead in the individual race. Brandon McCracken shot a 76 and Jordan Janz had a 77 to lead the Defenders. McCracken and Janz are fifth and eighth overall while Jon Vogel completed the Dordt scoring with an 84.
Dakota Wesleyan is in second with a 311 and Northwestern has a team in third with a score of 314.
Day two of the event will be Thursday, April 21.
