Dordt College Men's Golf at Doane Invitational-Final

(Lincoln, Nebraska) The Dordt College Defenders shot a 315 on day two of the Doane Invitational on Tuesday, September 28 to claim third place at the meet with a 635 for the two round event. Dordt's Jordan Janz, returning from injury, won the event with a 151 in his first action of the fall. Janz finished in a three-way tie and ended up placing first by virtue of the tie-breaker wiht his second day 75.
Brandon McCracken shot a 78 on Tuesday for a 160 and finished in 16th while Mike Rozenboom improved one stroke from his Monday total for an 80 and a 161 overall. Jon Holwerda completed the Dordt scoring with a 163.
Southeast Community College won the event with a 618 and Northwestern was second with a 628. 71 golfers took part in the 13-team event that was played at Wilderness Ridge Golf Course in Lincoln, Nebraska. The course was a par 71 and measured 7107 yards. Dordt's next action will be the GPAC Qualifier #2 at Hastings, Nebraska on Thursday, October 7.
