Dordt College Men's Golf at Doane Invitational

(Lincoln, Nebraska) The Dordt College men's golf team finds themselves in a tie for fourth place at the Doane College Invitational at Wilderness Ridge Golf Course in Lincoln, Nebraska.
The Defenders shot a 320 in the first round of the two day event and are tied with Central Community College in the team race. Jordan Janz led the way for Dordt with a 76 and finds himself in fourth place. Mike Rozenboom and Jon Holwerda each shot 81s and Brandon McCracken had an 82 to complete the Dordt scoring.
13 teams and 71 individuals competed on the par-71, 7107 yard course. Northwestern is the day one leader with a 313 and Riley Fitzximmons from Hastings is the individual leader with a 73.
Round two of the event will start at 9:00 Tuesday, September 28.
